Church Events
White River Christian Fellowship is a church congregation that likes to get together and fellowship apart from our Sunday morning service. 2019 Is a big year for White River Christian Fellowship. We purchased our new building, moved in and held our first service on Easter Sunday! Then after a busy summer we had an Open House in September and invited the community to come by and see our building and have a BBQ on us. Throughout the year we have many gatherings: Whatcha Got Potluck Dinners, Game nights, Movie Nights, and so much more. We would love to have you join us for some fun and fellowship. Check out our calendar page here to see what is coming up!As 2019 comes to a close, we are so thankful for all that the Lord has done for our church in Tygh Valley, OR. On December 24th we held our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service. It was such a special time for us to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior. Thank you to all who came together to bring this wonderful event to our community.
On December 15 we held our annual WRCF Christmas Party Potluck and Gift Exchange. We would like to give a big thank you to the Pine Meadows Golf Course for letting us use their clubhouse for our gathering. Also a huge thank you to all you volunteered to help make this party a huge success. It was a very special time of fellowship, fun and lots of good food.
September 7, 2019 White River Christian Fellowship Open House in Tygh Valley to share our new church home with the community.
We started our morning at our community center facilty with a sunrise service. Then we moved to our new facility were we held our Easter service. It was such a blessing to have folks from neighboring communities come to help us celebrate not only our new church building in Tygh Valley, but also the resurrection of our Lord and Savior.
2018 Events
In June we held a baptism in Pine Hollow Reservoir. The weather was perfect and the water was, well, kinda warm. We had five people who have dedicated their lives to Christ take part in the baptism. Afterwards we all joined in the fellowship and enjoyed an ice cream social.
In August we all drove from Sunday service in Tygh Valley, out to Rock Creek Reservoir for our church picnic. It was a beautiful day filled with great fellowship and good eats.
